We are looking for an engaging and tech-savvy retail VET trainer to join our growing team of contractor trainers. You are not afraid of using digital technology to deliver quality education to diverse groups of people and at the same time, you also enjoy face-to-face training as well.
The Retail Institute is a national RTO specialising in delivering retail-specific qualifications and as such, we are looking for trainers who have extensive knowledge of the industry.
You will be motivating groups of individuals to commence (or re-commence) their career in retail. Your students will come from all walks of life and your demonstrated ability to successfully guide these students through their studies, regardless of their background, will be highly regarded.
As a professional trainer, we expect that you will be responsible for maintaining your own industry and VET currency. The Retail Institute can assist you by inviting you to participate in consultation groups and facilitator meetings.
For face-to-face courses, you may be asked to travel around Newcastle, Central Coast and surrounds.
You will have:
TAE40116 or equivalent
Retail currency (at least 2019)
Demonstrated experience delivering accredited training
Use of Zoom or Teams to deliver online training
Experience working with Jobseekers – highly regarded
Understanding of a contractor relationship
