Job description

​We are looking for a results-driven marketing professional with partnership/account management expertise. You excel at building and managing relationships with external partners, and developing mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that really matter to the ARA membership.

You have an innate ability to think outside the box to create exclusive, innovative and profitable marketing opportunities for the ARA’s network of strategic partners. With a high level of professionalism, you are confident in representing the ARA in meetings with our strategic partners.

Your passion for relationship building and creative marketing flair will drive you to ensure that the ARA delivers campaigns that provide significant value to our members, and deliver return-on-investment for our partners.

You will be working in a small team and will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the perfect outcome which could mean writing marketing content, conceptualising creative marketing campaigns, managing advertising requests and sales, running webinars or creating high impact partnership proposals. Your experience working in a similar role for a not-for-profit organisation or membership association would be valuable but not essential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create powerful and profitable partnership opportunities for new and existing partners.

  • Account manage the relationship with key partners to ensure timely delivery of milestones and retention.

  • Work with the greater Marketing team and Events Manager in a hands-on marketing management capacity to ensure partnership obligations are achieved.

  • Running partnership event programs from conception to execution.

  • Ensure achievement of KPI and Partner Satisfaction targets.

Selection Criteria:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • High level written and oral communication skills.

  • Marketing and events management experience.

  • Well-developed organisational skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Creativity to produce beautiful partnership strategies and marketing outputs.

  • Ability to work under immense pressure.

  • Flexibility and a hard work ethic.
