​We are looking for a results-driven marketing professional with partnership account management and sales expertise. Your passion for marketing, innovation and creativity enables you to think outside the box to create exclusive and profitable opportunities.

You excel at building relationships and developing mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that really matter to the ARA membership. Each day will bring a variety of stimulating tasks, from copywriting enticing thought-leadership in partnership with ARA’s strategic partners, to identifying and securing commercial partnerships that drive value for ARA members.

Your passion for sales and business growth drives you to seek out and bring on partners that align with the ARA’s values.

Your experience working in a similar role for a not-for-profit organisation or membership association would be valuable but not essential. Your love for closing sales, especially B2B, and an ability to deliver and help execute on existing partnership deliverables will be the key factors here.

You will be working in a small team and will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the perfect outcome. What you’ll be doing:

  • Create powerful and profitable partnership opportunities for new and existing partners.

  • Account manage the relationship with key partners to ensure timely delivery of milestones and retention.

  • Work with the greater Marketing team and Events Manager in a hands-on marketing management capacity to ensure partnership obligations are achieved.

  • Identify, secure and develop strategic and commercial partnerships aligned to the ARA’s values and goals.

  • Ensure achievement of KPI's, Revenue Growth & GP targets.

Selection Criteria:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • High level written and oral communication skills.

  • Marketing and events management experience.

  • Well-developed organisational skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Creativity to produce beautiful partnership strategies and marketing outputs.

  • Ability to work under immense pressure.

  • Flexibility and a hard work ethic.
