Job description

We are looking for an amazing Digital Marketing Specialist who has a proven track record of successfully implementing digital solutions.

Ball & Doggett are Australia’s largest distributor of printable materials and consumables. We sell all sorts of raw materials that turn big ideas into reality. We are the place where all great communication starts. 

As an expert in the digital space, you will be responsible for developing new digital solutions, implementing and supporting the sales strategy and focuses on the ongoing improvement of the customer experience while realising bankable efficiency gains through process improvement. This role is  ‘hands on’ and requires that you action the relevant tasks at a granular level.

Responsibilities include

Develop and implement digital solutions that address the needs of our customers now and into the future. 

  • Develop a roadmap for the business that continually improves the customer experience from a digital perspective.   

  • Develop engagement strategies to increase overall digital impact   

  • Develop online sales strategy ensuring engagement of key stakeholders   

  • Identify opportunities to deliver further value from current e-commerce, EDI platforms   

  • Support strategy recommendations with ROI analysis to demonstrate commercial sensibility.   

  • Work within the current technological and budget constraints of the business.   

  • Maximise outcome from current tech platform, with recommendations for future state.

Develop implementation strategies and plans

  • Develop and deliver plans to support implementation of online growth strategy    

  • Develop strategy to implement customer self-managed inventory solution   

  • Determine technology & resources required to implement online strategies   

  • Identify opportunities to leverage synergies with online sales strategy and develop delivery plans 

Content Management

  • Work with key stakeholders to ascertain content requirements for online solution   

  • Through engagement with key stakeholders, develop an understanding of digital content and functionality that really matters to our customers now and in a future state.    

  • Develop recommendations to improve design and usability of online platforms to deliver a positive customer experience   

  • Develop digital content on multiple platforms that will drive traffic to the organisations online solution.

Measurement

  • Monitor and analyse key sales metrics, digital analytics and voice of customer insights across product categories to manage and improve conversion    

  • Measure, track and interpret customer behaviour and intent to enhance their digital experience   

  • Deliver reporting and insights to communicate business and customer benefits

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing digital solutions that drive revenue and provide a positive customer experience.   

  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, with a successful track record of taking the lead with digital projects and delivering on time and on budget    

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, using data and analysis to drive planning and results.   

  • Sound understanding of emerging digital technologies.    

  • Proven experience with database driven email marketing systems (Active Campaign), digital content, website development and enterprise grade Content Management Systems (CMS)   

  • A working knowledge of web analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics, GTM

  • Understanding of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/Wordpress
